What is Japan Rail Pass?The Japan Rail Pass is a special unlimited great value train pass for only temporary visitors sightseeing purposes only from foreign countries in Japan.
This pass is not available in Japan so you must buy your pass before you travel. You are able to board almost any trains on Japan Railways Group lines and a selection of buses throughout the country. (Exception: Nozomi bullet train on the Tokyo-Kyoto-Osaka line and Mizuho bullet train on the Kyushu Shinkansen line ) So you would explore freely from the northern island of Hokkaido to Kyushu to the south with the JR Pass.The pass has two type of classes which are Ordinary class and Green (first) class.

Eligibility for use:
- Non-Japanese passport holders visiting Japan from abroad for sightseeing, under the entry status of "Temporary Visitor".
- Japanese passport holders who have been legally residing in the country for 10 consecutive years or more (click here for the detail in Japanese).
Validity period:The consecutive 7, 14, or 21 days period beginning on the date the pass is first used. Once a starting date has been assigned to the pass, it cannot be changed.
Cancellation charge:10%+ GBP30.00 per pass within 3 month of issued date.
Payment:Debit card charges: No surcharges,
Credit card charges: Visa, Master and Amex: No Surcharges
Collection and Delivery:Collect at our office (by appointment only 9am-6pm): RECOMMENDED!!
